L'escudella - Vilafranca

We love to eat in l'escudella. the food is spectacular and the service is unbeatable.

Departure from the weekend to eat in pot, at the daluan restaurant and its famous truffle menu (see daluan.) to meet new villages after a few years for the killranya we chose to sleep the days of the carabiner, certainly highly recommended. for Saturday we had difficulty finding a recommended restaurant not far from the mosquete. we find L’Escudella in vilafranca, minutes by car. the opportunity was that the chef of this restaurant made practices in daluan and also had good reviews. We find an isolated building of the village, a few minutes away, with parking. spacious separate room with a few curtains that gave him a touch of elegant and made the most cozy dining room. well established tables but with paper napkins that deserved everything else. large menu and proposed menu with inputs and first fixed and second plate to choose between two options. we decant by the menu. we share a pair of boletus, ham and a Napoleon, similar to chrome chrome. Well done, droplets with good bounce. Second, some artichokes drank with ham and accompanied by truffle (optional.) the ham too fried and the artichokes would have advised to share the dish. and a tender and juicy cornkey but not crunchy to my drop, although in the letter it indicated that its elaboration ended with a crispy skin. Good home desserts, cheesecake and curd. to drink and advise for the waiter a ruby magnanimvs, wine of wineries may garcia that did not convince us. in summary a good option if you are around this area, due to the low gastronomic offer of a certain level, correct kitchen and sufficient facilities.

An excellent, quiet and relaxed place where you can talk without shouting. spectacular food, we ask for the tasting menu and eats very well. It's not a cheap menu, but if you want a quiet and relaxed place, it's a good choice.

Very cozy restaurant, good distribution and decoration , very attentive and friendly staff , very good sevicio and very good food, excellent presentation and description of each served dish. we recommend to repeat safe. thanks.
