It is one of my most popular places in Vienna, as it is located at Sobieskiplatz, you do not suffer from heavy traffic while you sit outside in their beautiful garden (usually quite full of afternoons and evenings, especially when it is warm/hot outside. they have a wide selection of wines, delicious antipasti plates and daily, fresh made pasta. If you like rum, you also taste rum. It also serves breakfast. Your stuff is very friendly, fast and speaks English. It is also a great place if you have a lot of space on the ground floor through a private party, plus a private room so other guests will not disturb you while you celebrate: it is definitely a place to visit when you are on the 9th. This is a beautiful small wine bar in the 9th. District of Vienna. It can be very busy during summer time, but you can usually find a place. If it's cooler, there's no problem finding a table. The waiting staff is generally very friendly. The tapas-style menu is good and there is a modest but good selection of drinks. It quickly closes by 23.00, as it is located in a residential area.

This is a nice little wine bar tucked away in the 9th district of Vienna. It can get very busy during summer time but you can usually find a spot. When it's cooler there is no problem with finding a table. The wait staff are generally quite friendly. The tapas style menu is good and there is a modest but good selection of drinks. It shuts promptly at 23.00 as it is located in a residential area.

One of my favourite place at the "sobieski-grätzel" excellent selection of vines and rums, cheap prices in general: white spritzer 2.20.- beer bottle for takeaway 1.60.- food: small menu with snacks and only few main dishes. delicious antipasti! nice small garden to sit outside in summer. a good place to meet friends and have some drinks. one big room in the basement that can be rent for celebrations, a small corner with a high table bar chairs (the room was a baking oven long time ago), and a comfy clubroom in the back. opens at 7am as a coffeshop and closes early at 11pm. a few special events over the year: 1st rum club of vienna, wine and rum tasting, 1. mai tree with open air concert, punsch every thursday in december, small bavarian october-fest with music, etc.
