Contribute Feedback What Vincent Fontaine likes about Federico II:
federico ii is a typical Italian family-run restaurant. the family exposed, native to foggia, manages what, in my opinion, is by far the best Apulian restaurant in vienna. the pizza, absolutely unique in the goodness of the dough, is approached to the Roman tradition, that is thin and crisp, and is undoubtedly a pleasant surprise, seen the many pizzerias of the city that offer a pizza of tradition markedly Neapolitan... What Simon Pieters doesn't like about Federico II:
I used to come more frequently but was never fully satisfied with quality-price. Last time I came around 18.00 for a coffee with a friend, the son of the boss didn’t greet us probably and when being told we’ll just have a quick coffee in...the empty garden, he told us he’ll might have to kick us out once more people come for dinner as it is a restaurant. We decided to leave, he didn’t even say good bye or anything as... View all feedback.
Excellent pasta dishes and pizza! in this family business you spuert italien and it is created above the evening a real holiday feeling of the house chatting with the gaesten while the elders in the cue and in the pizza oven conjure traditional coestliness. indulgent ambiente. we like to come again and again!
The price-performance ratio is miserable. the portions small, the service inadequate. we had the impression that savings are being made everywhere, but there are clearly excessive prices. any weeping will be preceded. all of this works sweet and after the maxime: with a minimum earn a maximum. very disappointing.
Very authentic italian with top ambience!Through this the trattoria is run as a family-run, a very special flair comes up! top feed, not quite cheap, sometimes long waiting times.Trotz all worth a visit!! We'll be happy to come back!
What a disappointment! The service is horrible and the food is cheap and not authentic. You order a small, they bring you a large and even if you point out their mistake, they insist they're right and bill you for a large. Then the waiter...ignores you while you try to rectify the problem. It's a shame one can't trust their neighborhood pizzeria. I live 1 block away and will never return. I would rather travel farther to many other good pizzas than be treater so poorly and served such unsatisfactory food. Don't believe the fancy stickers on the door. Falsche Bewertungen!
I dropped into this restaurant to have lunch before visiting the (amazing) KunstHaus Wien, an art museum dedicated to the work of Friedensreich Regentag Dunkelbunt Hundertwasser, artist extraordinaire and loather of the straight line or flat surface. I received a very warm welcome. My choice...from the rich menu was quickly made and almost as quickly prepared and served. The staff made pleasant conversation. My pizza was richly laden and the coffee to follow was strong and tasty. A really nice experience.
