I have stared after an appt on this strip and passed away from the perfect pita and decided to try it. there was really 't to see a menu when I tried to decide what to order, but there were signs with pictures that indicated what they had to offer. I went with a smoked turkey bacon on a wheat pita. the order came quite fast. When I came home and the oita wore away, I could immediately say it was really dry. so dry th... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Perfect Pita:
I requested a gyro sandwich in a lettuce wrap or the meat on top of a salad, but they refused to accommodate my order. Since they offer a chicken lettuce wrap, I know it's possible; however, the young employee at the counter was unwilling to make any modifications. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. I ordered the Veggie Delight and all the vegetables were very fresh. The Pita itself was also well done. You let me customize my order, it was a great lunch!
During my stay in the area, this was the first restaurant I visited, and I absolutely loved it. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my experience enjoyable. The texture of the pita was wonderfully soft yet sturdy, and I couldn't get enough of the hummus—it was so delicious that I kept thinking about it throughout the rest of my congress weekend! If I'm ever back in the area, I would definitely return. I must mention, though, that they might need to consider getting a larger space for more comfortable seating.
The chunky tzatziki sauce that came on the side was so thick that I had trouble drizzling it on my sandwich, and it didn’t taste fresh. To make matters worse, I didn’t receive any utensils, which would have been helpful for spreading the tzatziki. I ended up using my fingers, which was quite messy! Unfortunately, even all the tzatziki sauce couldn’t save the sandwich. On top of that, when I sat outside at one of the tables in front of the restaurant, I noticed a large spiderweb—clearly, the table hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Overall, this falafel sandwich is a significant disappointment and not worth the $9 price tag. I’ve had Perfect Pita on and off over the last decade since my college days and really wanted to support them. I even considered giving them another chance, but I’m officially done. With so many excellent sandwich options in the area like Potbelly's, Pike 7 Plaza, and The Boro, don’t waste your appetite here.
The best hummus in town, and the staff is incredibly friendly. We've been fans of Pita for twenty years!
I had lunch today and the warm pita was a delightful treat on a chilly day. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. Thank you!
