This is a very nice and very simple pizza place! I had one slice of cheese pizza and one slice of pepperoni pizza, which were both good, but I think that the cheese could have been more tasteful. I also think that they should bring in a recycling bin for recyclable items, like plastic soda bottles and plastic carry out containers. Other than that, all was good! One and done for Church St Pizza for us. Ordered online at 6:13pm. I arrived at 6:45 and was told it would be 20 min. After 40 more minutes, I was told that they just put in one of the two pizzas that I ordered at 6:13. When I asked why the delay, I was told that they “…just get backed up.” Needless to say, a horrible customer experience made a very average tasting pie that much worse. Never again. Such a weird business. Their hours are super odd, they aren’t accepting orders half the time they are open, and their website is a mess. The pizza is great but as a business this just seems like more of a hobby to them. I frequently have to order pizza from everywhere else because it’s so complicated to get an actual order placed here.
It’s no Michelin 4 star restaurant but it’s the best NY style within 30 miles of Vienna. Call ahead to see if they’re open and they’ll never be closed when you go. The people who work there are pleasant and do their best to make you feel
Our favorite NY style pizza spot. Tastes the same as before they closed. Had no issues with placing the order or how long it took.
Best pizza in the area by far. And they have a shark.
