The only reason I gave it a “Atmosphere score of 4” was because the bar area was closed due to circumstances beyond their control which cancelled the live jazz (which is the best IN TOWN). But this restaurant is our Italian FIX! if you’re hankering for some good old “The Godfather part 1, or The Good Fellas classic Italian cuisine look no further, and if they’re having live music you better hurry and make reservation... What Shonda Tardio doesn't like about Victor's Italian Phone Number, Reservations, Reviews:
I ordered calamari to go when I brought it home it was extremely dark appear to be burnt not crispy blackened, over fried I decided to try it anyways it was extremely bitter and tasted extremely burnt. When I called in to just merely let them know that I was just not pleased with it the staff began to tell me that this is how they prepare calamari it is supposed to be burnt and crispy and when I told him it was not c... Great atmosphere, great service, amazing food! We will be back as soon as possible!
Always great food and service. The bartenders Justin and Josh are always great! The pizzas are amazing. You also can't go wrong with the seafood risotto!
My husband and I came here for our wedding anniversary. We were seated at a high top in the bar area. There was live music (jazz on Fridays) which was really nice. However, the table was very small and we were in a tight walkway. I actually hit my head on the box that covers the temperature controls twice. It was really loud by the bar, so not quite the romantic atmosphere we were hoping for. However, our server was really friendly and attentive. Pros Warm bread Homemade pasta- I got fettuccine and the toasted pine nuts were so yummy. I recommend ordering house made pasta. Availability of a carafe of house wine Our waiter was so friendly Cons Chicken Parm- My husband was not a fan. The sauce was watery. The chicken was not breaded, which I think is what he was expecting. He said it was pretty dry and bland. Cannoli- We split a cannoli for dessert and this time it was me who wasn’t a fan. The cream was so loose and gritty. Prices are high. We did know this before we came, so I think if the food was perfection we wouldn’t have minded as much. Overall, I recommend sticking to drinks and homemade pasta.
Fun environment. We just had some drinks and a meat/cheese platter, which was so grossly expensive for what we got I almost feel there was a mistake made. Will give another try and adjust if warranted.
Lovely little joint in a renovated church in the quiet part of York. The menu is fairly authentic Italian with some great drinks. The avocado on toast cocktail is fantastic!! Our server Mon was absolutely worth the 5 stars alone, she was polite and friendly, had great timing and seemed to be able to serve all tables smoothly and quickly.
