The dining experience was fantastic! The chocolate mousse was outstanding, and we tried their top-selling cocktail, "sauvage", which was absolutely delicious. While the meal was a bit pricey, we will definitely be returning in the future. View all feedback.
What George Ebert doesn't like about Richoux:
Flat iron steak was good but not great, needed more tenderising and seasoning. The rocket salad had a nice dressing and the chips were very good. Service was good, but food took a while to come. View all feedback.
Serendipity! What a fantastic restaurant. My wife and I visited Richoux for dinner and were pleasantly surprised. We started with a crispy Duck salad, which had amazingly crispy pieces of duck on a bed of greens with a delicious dressing. It was so good that I could have easily had another one! We also tried the jumbo prawn cocktail, which was full of plump prawns with greens and a tasty marie rose sauce. For our main course, we both had the rib-eye steak cooked to a perfect medium rare, one with peppercorn sauce and the other with bearnaise sauce. Both were excellent! We enjoyed a bottle of Chateau de Gardegan recommended by our server, and it was delicious. Our server also suggested a cheaper wine when the one I originally ordered was not available, showing excellent service. For dessert, we indulged in the white chocolate cruffin, which was light and delicious, as well as an apple tarte tartin that our server warned us was big enough for two - he was right! It was scrumptious and we managed to finish it off easily. We ended our evening with freshly brewed coffee. The service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive, and the prices were very reasonable, especially compared to London restaurants. If you can find a rib-eye steak for under 25 anywhere in London, let me know. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be returning soon.
I randomly stopped by this restaurant on a weekend and was immediately drawn to the delicious muffins on display. I decided to come back for dinner a few weeks later after looking through the menu and I was not disappointed. I ordered the ribeye steak, which came with chips and salad for a reasonable price of £20. I was very satisfied with the quality of the food and would definitely return for the same meal. The muffins were a hit as well, but they tend to sell out early so I recommend getting there early for a second visit in the evening!
