The Roti are also made on the truck and surprisingly tasty for a simple flatbread. I recently tried the Jerk Poutine for the first time and, as someone who doesn't usually get excited about poutine, I was pleasantly surprised. It combines curds and hand-cut Kennebec fries with a rich vegetarian (and even vegan) gravy that has a surprisingly complex flavor profile. I tried it at the chef's suggestion, and I enjoyed it a lot! Their location behind the museum is somewhat hidden, which seems to keep it off the radar for many locals. This is unfortunate because it boasts a sun-drenched seating area with a licensed beverage kiosk, and you can even bring your dog along! What more could you want?

This is some of the best West Indian curry I've ever had, and the Johnny cakes are absolutely divine!

I had the Tobago wrap, and it was fantastic—filled with deliciously savory curried chicken. I definitely recommend adding their homemade hot sauce, which is made with red pepper, pineapple, and habanero. It packs a nice heat but also has a lot of flavor! Rolling Reef, please consider coming to Edmonton!
