Kuma Noodle Japan - Victoria

I used to love this place, but not anymore. The food was just okay and not worth the long wait. One of the servers wiped the chopsticks with a cloth in front of me, which was unprofessional. The other server was unfriendly and seemed annoyed when customers came in. They didn't check on the tables either. It felt more like a food court than a restaurant. Plus, the napkins were half torn. I left disappointed and don't plan on coming back.

I have been dining at this restaurant for years, but this recent visit was disappointing. The miso soup and gyoza were prepared by an older woman, and I found the portion of soup to be insufficient. The dumplings had a mushy texture and a bitter taste.

To me, it?s best ramen place in town, the size of the portion is good, taste of ramen, broth and toppings are all delicious. The server was super friendly.

I visited this restaurant only twice while living in Victoria. I tried the beef don the first time and the ramen the second time, and both dishes were delicious. A friend of mine claimed that the ramen was the best they've ever had, so take that for what it's worth haha. I wish I could have visited more frequently, but every time I tried to stop by, they were always closed by chance. Hopefully, I'll have the opportunity to dine there again someday.

Overall positive experience but took a star off because my friends meal was forgotten but the customer service received was wonderful and food tasted amazing. I would highly recommend as my BBQ pork kimchi don was flavour full and tasty
