We were in the area on a cruise, and stopped in for some poutine about 30-45 min before they closed. Our cashier seemed new, but was nice enough. They have a $10 (CAD) minimum for credit cards. The poutine wasn't bad. Not the absolute best I've had, but maybe 8/10. Definitely worth the stop. While nice enough, the staff seemed slightly irritated about me only having USD, or CC, and coming in so close to close. View all feedback.
What Drew V doesn't like about Beacon Drive In:
We ordered a screaming hot burger, onion rings, and a turkey sadwich for $21. A side of 3 pickle slices was $1.20. The onion rings felt like they were fried for two days. My burger had me screaming in regret. The sadwich made me sad. I was confused if this was how my order was supposed to be. If you're looking for the place that's got that juice, this ain't it. But they have some ice cream. View all feedback.

Absolutely fantastic food !I come across this place back in 2012 and just fell in love with there food and the atmosphere of the place.Recently was here for a deluxe cheese burger and poutine and they did not disappoint. Great quality food , very friendly customer service and very clean atmosphere. If I was a local I’d be here a few times a week.Very much a jewel of a place in Victoria. What ever there doing there doing it right to be there as long as they have.My grandfather asked me back in 2012 to check this place out as he loved it when he was living there in 1969 1971 said it was his go to place.I really can’t recommend this place enough.Really enjoy the food .They also offer an outdoor patio as well .Hope to get back here again. Thanks for the memories Beacon Drive In Restaurant ! ? ?
My friend and I decided to go here for lunch. We went inside as the line was short. It was super busy and very loud. When I picked up our food, I noticed that I got French fries instead of the onion rings I ordered .I asked for them to be replaced. Then, to make things easier, I said I would eat the fries. The gentleman helping me said he would bring me onion rings.I was truly disappointed as they were stuck together and way over fried.I had to go back to get sauce for chicken fingers and was told I had to pay. Even though 1 pk is included. He ended up bringing the sauce over, not knowing we had none. Then it was time to get into my burger. It wasn't even warm.I took it back and asked for my money to be refunded. The same gentleman brought me my to the table.I have been to this place so often and have had excellent burgers.Today was a disaster. On top of that, the same gentleman had to ask an employee to get up from one of the tables that is for paying guests. The two older ladies actually apologized for asking her to move.Wth?What is the matter with this generation ?I have yet to call the manager and put in a complaint.I get that fast food places get busy.It was one issue after the other today.I'm completely disappointed with my visit today.
Down-to-earth and freshly made food that is honest and tasty. We only ordered a simple cheeseburger, onion rings, and a soft-served cone, and everything exceeded our expectations. We can tell that the food was made with care and heart. The soft-served cone was mountain tall. And in this day and age of crazy inflation, it did not go unnoticed that Beacon Drive-in had kept their prices very reasonable, and I appreciate that. But most important of all, their staff were friendly and pleasant in a way that made us feel they were happy to be there.Good job! What a gem of a restaurant!Wheelchair accessibility: Patio was wheelchair friendly. Unsure whether indoor seating is wheelchair friendly or not.
Great food. Reasonable prices. Soft serve with flavor bursts are a unique look and great taste. A real throwback location. Great MCM building architecture.
