China City - Verona

Was over, ordered General Tso and Sesam Chicken. Her chicken was the best of many takeout restaurants. It was crispy without too much maize flour. Definitely will be over next time.

They have a great price for their lunch special. Not a fan of the lo mein but the general tso was pretty good. It could use a slight kick in spice but maybe I should have asked for spicy. Egg rolls are on point. I'd eat here again.

Good food and friendly staff, really appreciate it being just down the road.

This is the house special lo mine. Very good! My favorite dish from here is pork foo young. Holy smoke! This sauce is amazing. Where I am from Chinese restaurants, use Braunschweig. China City uses my Hoisin sauce with her. It is heated so that it does not cool. I picture it when I find it lol I always ask that my egg roll is cooked extra. It brings such a better taste and the skin is crispy. It is worth noting if you are not in Verona.

Have been wanting to try a Chinese restaurant for a while. We decided to try hear for takeout and we were not disappointed! My husband is EXTREMELY picky when it comes to ALL food and he really liked his curry shrimp. Only thing he wanted was more shrimp, he doesn't like vegetables so he picked out the shrimp. I'm a pescatarian and I ordered a few different things to try and all were so delicious! We will be back!
