Absolutely insane to remain open while the AC has been down for a week! I nearly passed out just waiting for my sandwich. It's 100 degrees in there with excessive humidity. There has got to be some health food sanitary violations taking place. 3 stars for good sandwich and employees sticking it out, but it is inhumane and unsafe to make staff work in those conditions. Only left!!! You only had a few options from Bagels? I ordered a bacon egg and cheese, the eggs looked like they were precooked, a piece of bacon, and the cheese wasn't even melted? they just put a piece on it? and guess what the Bagels surely don't taste like a Brooklyn Bagel!!! I should know I'm from Brooklyn!!! Me? You should buy a frozen one and pack it yourself!!!!! PS not very clean!!!!
I and my friend often come here and really love the food. But it is often not very consistent. Seems that no one is on the same page and I am going to be the same question from several people I answered when I ordered food was good, but really disappointed in the all bagel there was hardly anything seasonal. And he didn't get his pimp with his sandwich?. $40 also got the cubsta and they always fill the cup with the coffee cubes and the cup wasn't even half full?.
I ordered a ham, egg and cheese bag. The eggs are bland and very little ham. The cheese has processed. The coffee was good. Next time, I'm just getting butter.
A large employee behind the counter helped us, this was our first visit. She was very helpful and friendly. She gets 5 stars, and the Bagel cream cheese spread gets 3 stars to make the total 4. Bagels and distribution are good, but not quite a 4. The Jalapeno spread was too easy for me, I am used to many pepper, herbs and other fenced vegetables in it. The bagels have the right chewing and mouth feeling, but again, are not quite up there with the best.
I had such a pleasant experience here! The staff was great and had a good energy. The pastrami breakfast sandwich was delicious.
