Just walk up the alley right next to Bar Luini which is where the main bus stop is in Intra, go through the piazza and go about a block up the street and there it is on the left. We sat in the outdoor garden as it was a warm day surrounded by lush greenery, birds chirping and flowers. My husband had the hamburger which he said was excellent. It was huge and thick on proper heated bun (not the mushy McDonald's variety) and came with fresh tomato, onion, pickles and a small dish with ketchup may, and perfectly cooked fries. I had the Austrian style bratwurst with mustard, fries, spaetzle, and sauerkraut. Absolutely great and a nice change from pasta, however there are Italian dishes and a few Mexican items on the menu too along with a huge selection of beer. There is also a large selection of sandwiches if you don't want a big meal. There was so much food I couldn't eat all of mine. The owner Christina is a lovely person and very welcoming. We will definitely be returning here as frequently as possible. For two meals, one beer, a half litre of very nice white wine and a coffee the bill was only 40 Euros. Highly recommend!
This is a fab place for lunch, or to while away an evening. A beautiful old building, with interesting traditional Italian decor inside. The highlight is the secret garden, so pretty, and a perfect place to enjoy one of the many beers on offer, or a glass of wine. The menu is varied and offers something for everyone, traditional Italian, or nachos and burgers. Take the time to find this place, you will love it.
This restaurant is a wonderful place with a ton of history, explained by the owner’s lovely wife. The paninis and German beer were also top notch!
I stumble on this quant restaurant while travelling through the streets. Very happy with everything, the service, beer, and food incredible. Im very picky when it comes to spending money for eating out, but I was very very impressed. There was a waitress named Christine, she was perfect, made us laugh and catered to all our needs. We were in town for a few days, and went back on 2 more occasions. WELL DONE ROSA BIANCA:.
We took a polenta and a wine, everything was very good. The price per 3 adulte and a children 49 Euro
