Came to tour downtown ventura and stumbled upon this nice little gem. I had the rigotani and meat balls, it was absolutely amazing. The owner came out and brought us our food and explained it was inspired from a Napili Italy. This was was by far thebest Italian food me and my wife have ever had! The staff and owner where very welcoming and we really enjoyed out time there. If you are near Ventura give the immigrants s... View all feedback.
The best gluten free waffle I have ever had. I usually work during a quick breakfast but this left me just wanting to taste and savor my food. Yum!!! The chai was good too but I wouldn't crave it. The waffle however...this restaurant is celiac friendly.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free
I came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning as a party of 2 and was immediately seated. The service was great, our waitress was very attentive and never let our coffee or waters go empty. The food was absolutely delicious; the breakfast carbonara served in a bread bowl was the perfect way to start the day after a long night out. The homemade pasta tossed in a light, creamy peppery carbonara with prevalent amounts of pancetta throughout the dish adding just the right amount of salty, porky, smokiness showcased the italian roots of the establishment perfectly- no question about it. The atmosphere was airy and the art was themed around the spirit of Italian and South American cafés, with vintage poster art a la Leonetto Cappiello adorning the walls. My cortado came with a little bit of foam art which is always a nice touch as well. 5/5 s for everything across the board, it's no wonder they were awarded as the #5 best brunch spot in the U.S.A. by Yelp this year.
Best red sauce I've had outside of Italy. This place is awesome! The service was on point and the food was amazing. I had the breakfast lasagna because I've heard so much about it, everyone was right, it's amazing! I can't wait to try their pasta dishes. I'll definitely be frequenting this place!
I’ve been on a very restrictive (low fodmap) diet for medical reasons and eating out feels nearly impossible. I got the salmon benedict and asked for more than a few changes. Our server and the kitchen staff were so accommodating and assured me that it wasn’t a huge inconvenience. I love that because honestly I do just make my own food at home since most restaurants lack truly nutritious, low inflammatory meals. I was in town visiting my Mom and we wanted to grab brunch together. I appreciated feeling welcomed and not like a nuisance to restaurant staff. Thank you, Habibi’s!
Really enjoyed our meal here. So much so that I didn’t even get to take a photo of any of it. I had one of the omelets and my wife had the Benedict. They were very accommodating for our dog and dog stroller too. Great service even though they were very busy.
