South St. Burger - Vaughan

I want to start by saying that I have always been a big fan of South St. Burger. However, today I had one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. I ordered the new southern fried chicken sandwich and it tasted good until I realized it was undercooked, with raw chicken. As I am 8 months pregnant, this was a huge concern for me. I brought it to the cashier's attention and he offered to make me a new sandwich, but I was already feeling too unsettled to accept it. The manager did not even bother to apologize or speak to me, which was very disappointing. They served me raw chicken and showed no empathy towards my situation. I am completely speechless and disgusted by their handling of the situation. It was extremely frustrating and unacceptable. I took a picture of the raw chicken sandwich for reference.

Not the best burger, or at least when I had eaten there, it wasn't this day.

I have been enjoying for many years and at many different places the burgers of south street. the most important feature of a good burger, however, is the taste and quality of the bark. I ate a burger at vaughan mills location about 2 months ago and. for the first time was very dissatisfied. I thought it might have been one, so today there was still a burger to see. Unfortunately, the quality was identical to the last time and it was hard to say what kind of meat is now in the burger. not sure what happened, maybe south street is the ordering it burger from another supplier to improve its lower line. sad, if I don't hear about a smash in her meat quality, I won't be back.

It’s a nice burger joint for something fast and easy,shareable in everything on the menu. The Staff are very friendly and the food are yummy it’s a bit on the pricey side for a fast food but it is a notch or two better than...the usual fast food burger chains.

Could have a bit bigger portions for the price you pay. I had the 4oz burger combo and my husband had the 6oz combo which came to $25. Although it tastes fresh and the toppings are also fresh it is not as big of a...patty as you think so you are paying for the name I would say. At least it's not McDonald's and it didn't sit in a freezer for a while before being served to you. They also use New York Fries which I find to be an acquired taste.
