What puffincita89 doesn't like about Hermanas:
IT IS NOT MEXICAN NEITHER CUBAN! (I am Mexican so I really can tell). The only latin thing is the decor. The food was very disappointing... the personnel were nice. View all feedback.
Great restaurant with great food. I tried the mix platter which was a bit of everything. Everything was so great! Be prepared for a lot of food if you order that though. If you wanna go for something smaller I'd recommend a few of the tacos (also great).
Cozy place with great food. Had a really good experience in a fantastic atmosphere at Hermanas. Food was well prepared, and very tastefull without being to strong. Service and waiters were very friendly and helpful. I did really feel me well treated and had a good evening meal. Try it out.
This place is crazy cozy. Unique atmosphere, nice staff and good food. Suitable for both cuoples, friends and companies. Highly recommended
The place was full but luckily they had a smaller sofa for us. Eating dinner from low and soft couch is maybe not the most comfortable. It was made up for by an autmosphere that we said was like a scene from a movie where they try to depict a very friendly and dynamic place. The food was made up of a couple of smaller dishes, each with a nice sting of chili and coriander. A great and homely place for vegetarians.
This small Mexican place turned out to be a real treasure. If you enjoy a familiar atmosphere and is not troubled when it gets a bit crowded and loud this is the place to go. I was there on a Wednesday evening and it was full so to make sure to get a table I recommend that you make a reservation. The food is typically South American with focus on Mexico and Caribbean and some of the dishes are quite strong. The menu is only found on slates on the walls. It's not very long but on the other hand it's changed more often. Me and my friends had the chef's choice mixed plate called Hermanas Platas. This option seem to always be available and will give you a taste of several dishes. All food was excellent and very fresh. As already mentioned some dishes were spicy and some had a lot of fresh herbs. The service was excellent and they talked us through all food that was served. They also serve beer and drinks from same region.
