The Pawn Shop YVR - Vancouver

Everything about this restaurant was great. Food was excellent, bar service and atmosphere was fantastic. Just an absolute gem. Recommendation is high!

We visited this spot when last in Vancouver 5 years ago so looked forward to this trip. We actually visited here twice during the current 8 day trip. We just had some drinks on this occasion. We saw a lot of taco’s going to other tables looking scrumptious. We had just eaten so had no room unfortunately. The place was buzzing both times, around 3 pm on the first day and 10 pm on the other. Staff were great and attentive. We enquired about an Irish guy that worked there 5 years ago who was very helpful then and seriously talented but we were told that he no longer worked there. Nice to see they named a drink after him, the “Shane Bomb”

Amanda’s service was extremely poor and she was unfriendly. We had to repeatedly flag down other servers to order food and drinks. The place wasn’t even 1 quarter full so not sure why her service was almost nonexistent, but, did she have time to be on her phone sure. We thought 15$ was a bit much for guacamole and chips.

An awesome little taco shop on Granville Street, I can't rave enough about my experience there! Best happy hour on Granville! The chicken pork tacos were delicious, vegetarian options available as well. Come.for the delicious food and enjoy the funky atmosphere!
