The Marquis And Grill - Vancouver

We had a pleasant table at the back of the restaurant. The food was good, and they were able to offer milk and gluten-free options. However, our server didn't mention that our truffle fries appetizer would come with a large portion. We enjoyed a couple of cocktails, one of which I hadn’t tried before, and we had so much fun trying to replicate it later. The staff was friendly, but our food and appetizer arrived after an hour, and they came out at the same time. We were left wondering if our server had forgotten about the appetizer. We’ll give them a bit of grace since the restaurant was quite busy.

The spicy chicken burger was fantastic, paired perfectly with braided cauliflower. It was crispy on the outside and incredibly tender on the inside. The short rib tacos are another dish you simply must try; they were exquisite and easy to eat without any mess. The avocado salsa in the tacos was creamy and spicy—absolutely amazing!

We visited this restaurant because my daughter works there. I had one of the best burgers I've ever had—the Marquis burger. Thomas, the bartender, went above and beyond by making me one of his famous mojitos after he finished his other tasks.

I love coming into this bar because the community has the feeling. I love the industry evenings with kareoke on Monday. also the personal is amazing, sam is such a funny bartender and a reason, all come to their own.

Super nice place. Not too loud around brunch time. Eggs Benny was excellent, (and I've had a lot of eggs Benny). Our server, Maria, was very friendly and attentive.
