Visiting from out of town and was recommended to come here and I am not disappointed. Such friendly staff and a small intimate environment made the experience so enjoyable. The food was great and gave me the chance to try a cuisine that I have never had before. I will definitely come back here if I’m ever back in town!
Amazing food quality and service! One of our meals was vegan and they were very knowledgeable and accommodating, and went through items that were vegan or could be modified on the menu. We had the pemmican, bison, bannock taco (made vegan), upside down cake and sorbet. Everything was perfect. Even better, the staff were so friendly and personable it made for a wonderfully personal experience. 10/10 would go back! Thanks for the great night.
People here do something great! Each morsel has been thought out with modern methods and the highlights of a variety of signature aromas such as game, cedars and bison. It tasted like the feeling of coming home at a cold autumn night. I loved everyone here needed time to provide details about what was on every plate and what Salmon n' Bannock hoped to offer to its visitors. They want to build connections and really deliver a unique platform to design them. Thank you.
Absolutely incredible restaurant is the food incredibly delicious and really special. The prices are also very reasonable for the quality of the food you receive. We have the Salmon Sampler, the Bison pots and the Bannock. Everything was super delicious especially the salmon sampler who was our favorite dish. We also had a few wines that were very delicious. Overall, excellent place!
A wonderful feast for tastes and all senses! This cozy, stylish place is filled with indige art and music and has a fully authentic indigenous menu with local ingredients (yes, even the wine list! . Service is impeccable and the fare is elegant and tasty. We had roasted the bannock with mushrooms as an opener, and Elchwurst wildly caught salmonfiss and rice for the main. Sage-infused blueberries showed prominent and raised the game and bright local veg perfectly. Perfect unique place for a date. Will visit again!
