Peaked Pies is basically two components: A hand-holdable pie topping. The topping is the 'Peaked ' gimmick and I 'd treat it as such for your money 's worth. Peak-ing a pie (up to $3.50). You basically get mashed potato, mushy green peas, and gravy if you go for the full 'Peak ' treatment, but you can also get these components separately. View all feedback.
What 지예 정 doesn't like about Peaked Pies:
I tried their steak bacon and cheese pie - but all I could see and taste was beef. The pie crust is pretty flaky and nice, and the beef was tender and the gravy inside yummy, but I couldn't see why mine would cost more than a regular beef pie. One pie is more than enough for one person, if you're a light eater like I am. I might try a sweet pie next time... or butter chicken. View all feedback.
There are not a lot of vegan choices available, but the food is still delicious.
I loved the Vegetable Medley pie at this restaurant. I would love to see more vegan options on the menu.
My son and I were walking down the street exploring Vancouver when we came across ‘Australian pies’ and we instantly remembered eating Australian pies with friends when we visited Sydney many years ago. We had the savory pies (the hopper and a steak bacon and cheese) the pie was light and flaky and the meat fillings very flavorful. It was a perfect three o’clock miss lunch snack — and the pie and a draft beer special was extremely reasonable— recommend and will go again before we leave Vancouver
Recommended by two independent people as we were looking around for somewhere to have a quick lunch. “It’s all in the pastry” according to one and she was right. Absolutely delicious with a special pie and beer deal on offer. Enthusiastic and helpful people running the place.
Great delicious home style pies and exactly what we were after for a quick meal We enjoyed them with Bundaberg ginger beer Highly recommend both of these
