Local Public Eatery - Vancouver

A little busy, so expect a waiting time before you sit. But service was amazing and server was pleased to ask the kitchen to adapt and offer vegan options. Beer was cooled and amazing as expected! My only request is to have more vegan options on the menu. Maybe a vegan burger? Would come back and recommend!

I came here for a weekend with a friend. I went several times from Local, but that was the first time visiting. The restaurant is surprisingly large inside and the decor is pretty. The hostess and servers were both very friendly and patient, while my friend and I made up my mind. We went with some BC craft beers and within a few hours ordered the perogies, the chicken wings and the potato skins. All three articles were so delicious! I definitely go back and check their other locations.

The first time in Gastown, so we had lunch at the local Public Eatery. From the moment we went, we immediately loved the mood of a low lit and urban ambience and the Hamburgers were fantastic! I had the Sangria fusion of red white wine, Agave, Gin s and fireball, it was definitely had a kick that was good from this world! My husband enjoyed some local beers he also loved. We would highly recommend this food! We also had excellent customer service, our server was great, very friendly and checked regularly:

I loved the blackened chicken burger, and my man enjoyed his burger as well and finally I found another place that serves pickle backs shots (a.k.a bartender's handshake) and the tequila sunrise was delish. Drinks were good, got seated right when we showed up, and the waitress was so nice to us no complaints and highly recommend.

A really nice restaurant that have big screens to watch sport games. Can lay back and relax, enjoy the vibe. Located at the corner of Gastown, easy to find. Waiters are friendly, food is amazing, highly recommended their burgers!
