I ordered the pizza with free add-on salad. caesar. a good part of the romaine was spoiled and not fit to eat. last night salat escape. the pizze, the stairs to the sky, was a bit dry and there was no woodburn taste. While eating The pizza I bit into something that wasn’t breaking down . Upon inspecting, it turned out to be onion skin… I think . Is it normal to have onion skin as part of the caramelized onion? Either way it made me skeptical about the pizza and killed my appetite. The fries were still delicious however . We had pizza, wings and meatballs. The pizza wasn't very attractive but ok, the wings were small and not very meaty, the meatballs were very good.
The drinks were alright but the overall vibe was fun. This was a date for Valentine’s Day so we expected it to be very busy.
Over the years we have moved several times. One of the things we always look for is a good mechanic to maintain our cars. We found one. The other thing we look for right away is a good pizza place. We found that at The Rock! We are and will continue to be repeat customers.
I moved to Vancouver 5 months ago and have been searching for a new Friday spot. This may be it.
