This is the second journey of our family to Sunflower Cafe. We invited another family to join us and wanted to send them out with great sushi on their last day in Florida! What Isabella doesn't like about Sunflower Cafe Inc:
They said The wait would be 20 minutes, but it was over an hour. we saw multiple people go inside and get seated before us even though they said we were next. The food was mid, and going there really wasn’t worth it. The atmosphere was very cramped and dim lit. We had to wait for our food for another hour. I would not recommend going here at all. I think this is my favorite sushi joint in Tampa now. We haven't tried anything else so I can't talk with it, but the sushi is phenomenal. We went back a few days later to try more and it was as amazing. I can't wait to try more sushi and other food there.
Great food! Hard to find decent Sushi Square in Tampa, but this place fills us all. We love it!
The Sunflower Café is a simple sushi link with some other Asian dishes on the menu. It is owned by Japanese and it shows. The attention to detail and diversity in the sushi memories is fabulous. Quality is good and the rice made right. During my recent visit, Savannah was our server and offered excellent service.
Love this place! Best sushi in this area at a very reasonable price. It’s a small restaurant so be prepared to wait during busy times. Omakase box is our jam!
