What Adimaritoma doesn't like about Mikkonos Beach Club:
Although thé food is good at this beach bar thé service towards thé foreigners is really below acceptable level. Despite timely reservation of our table thé staff unfriendly change this and gives priority to their Spanish custom era in this way lacking respect to other customers. View all feedback.
Got to the Mikkonos from El Saler “beautiful” beach. There were about 3 tables with people inside with lots of tables free. However, we were not allowed to sit inside to have a drink or even a quick drink unless we were ordering food. We were directed to the tables stationed outside to have drinks. The smell where we had to sit with a glass of wine was horrible because rubbish bins are just a few meters away. Nothing anywhere near any pleasant experience. Would not recommend unless you are looking for a disappointment. But it’s an experience)
Privileged location between car park and the sea on El Saler Dunes with attractive glimpses of sea between the grass and sandy mounds. Indoor tables have breeze thro ' open windows and there are outside terrace spots with sun shades. The menu has some interesting starters (recommend the beetroot hummus with veggie chips and the burrata/tomato/onion chutney salad). We had the 'senyoret ' fideua (prawn, calamari and monkfish noodles in a paella dish). Fish over cooked and stock under flavoured so was OK rather than great for 22E pp. The 'secreto de iberico ' with wild mushrooms and truffle sauce (25e) was tender and delicious. We had a bottle of 'Utiel de Requena ' Rose dry and in an ice bucket at the table (20e). Service was a little slow and faltering to start but they replaced some luke warm generic tasting 'tinto de veranos ' for beers without question. Nearby diners waited so long for their rice dish they gave up and left without paying Sunday in summer is always shockingly busy so perhaps might be a nicer experience during the week when it 's less crowded.
Awful experience. Whilst eating lunch here we found a long, thick hair in the Bravas. When we told the waiter he did not apologise, just shrugged and asked us if we were done with it. When the bill came the Bravas were still included on the bill. We told him we weren't going to pay for a dish which we did not eat because of the hair. He then still did not apologise, but just told us he would get the manager (who took it off the bill, but still offered no apology). Shockingly awful service for anywhere, no matter an expensive place like this!

A place to become pleasant, at least in autumn that is when I was. Fast and pleasant service, spectacular homemade croquettes, good squid to the Andalusian, very good the dry rice of bogavante, that of the lordet can be improved, good and well presented the desserts, as it begins, will return
