Stopped in for lunchtime today for a quick and easy option. I was very impressed with the meals one all fronts. The size of portions, quality of the ingredients and cooking were top notch. If I could give any feed back is that offering a...Card/contactless payment option would be a good addition. View all feedback.

What maeve beecher dislikes about Millbrook Fish And Chips:
Of course they forgot half our order when we picked it up? Thank god we checked before driving off and they were about to close as well. Everything is battered SO HEAVILY that it’s literally doughy like a raw doughnut or something inside! Also the curry sauce is very lumpy and the mushy peas are terrible. The battered sausage has a bad aftertaste. Fish and portions weren’t bad and chips were great but the battering w... View all feedback.

This restaurant serves the best fish and chips in the area, located near the A338. They offer takeout options for dinner at a price range of £1-10 per person. The food and service both received a top rating of 5, while the atmosphere was rated a 3.

Millbrook Fish and Chips has quickly made its mark as a must-visit destination for anyone craving authentic British fare. Renowned for its fresh, crisp batter and perfectly cooked chips, the restaurant strikes the perfect balance between quality and quantity. While some customers have noted issues with takeaway orders and certain menu items, the consensus remains positive; dishes like battered halloumi and gluten-free options have won fans. They do a really nice gluten-free sausages and chips I would highly recommend these fish and chips for gluten-free perhaps they will be a gluten-free curry sauce soon x

Wow. today was my first time to visit, as I was told that it was the best, good people were not wrong! fantastic eating, was light, not greasy, chips were fluffy and golden, my family loved it. the staff is friendly, very professional, the service was fast and the best is the prices are great. gluten-free food, OAP prices that they get very rare that everywhere. I will go again. great work youngs.

These are definitely the best fish and chips in the area. Always cooked fresh and always crispy. Give the battered halloumi and battered saveloys a try too for a naughty treat. You won’t be disappointed!

As a northerner who appreciates good fish and chips I reckon this is by far the best in the UK south of Leeds. Well done

It's great that they offer gluten-free options all week. My wife enjoyed her meal. It's a shame they only accept cash, but it's good value for the quality of the food. We will definitely return soon.

I cannot recommend Millbrook Fish and Chips due to the long queues. However, I must say the haddock, chips, mushy peas, and steak and onion pie were all perfectly cooked and delicious. The food was freshly made and the team is doing a great job. Keep it up!
