The best steak house in the state! Delicious, savory, aBsolutely HUGE steaks cooked for perfection. Friendly, friendly staff and the owner treats you like family. Located directly on the river, there is always a very relaxed, rear veranda type atmosphere inside. They do not try to fill you with salad and sides and then a small steak like other steak houses. Nowhere did I serve bigger steaks. You will definitely need... View all feedback.
What Lavern Grady doesn't like about Benton Lee's Steak House:
The sirloin for two cost $70 at this restaurant. They have a self-serve drink station with sweet tea, unsweetened tea, and water as the only options. They only currently have child-sized cups available. The steaks were tough and rubbery, like chewing on a rubber band. The food roll was tasty though. View all feedback.
Sone of the men I attend church with decided to take an old friend out for dinner last evening. Keep in mind there were about 12 of us. The staff was friendly and professional. The steaks were delicious and big. This was my second time there and will not be my last. If you want a good steak this is the place. It's a drive but definitely worth it.
We went here on a Thursday night, and there was hardly anyone there. A sign as you walked in, tells you to add $4.00 to each steak as they have raised prices, but they didn't have new menus yet. The waitress walked over to tell us we could help ourselves to water. Seems weird, she walked all the way over to tell us that, why not just bring glasses of water over. If you wanted a beverage other than water, you had to go up to the bar to get it. Not sure why you even have a waitress if they are not going to wait on you (especially, since there was hardly anyone in the place. We ordered the sirloin for 2. One was very thin, the other was really fatty. Neither were very good for the price you pay. Water glasses were styrofoam, small salad came in styrofoam bowl with prepackaged dressings, and condiments were all generic Walmart brand. If you are trying to be an expensive steakhouse, you could use brand name stuff and have real dishes. The roll that comes with the meal was cold and dry. Overall, I guess I expected more for a meal over $60. Texas Roadhouse would have been a way better steak and half the price.
Totally awesome steaks. This is a no frills place that makes the best steaks in Georgia. Hard to get to but we'll worth it. Owner is available and runs a tight ship. Parking plentiful.
The place was very Beautiful! The waitresses was Awesome! But the food! The Steak! NOT WORTH $33.99 for the small T-Bone! Menu said 30.99! Only got 2 bites. The rest was all fat! The salad I could have gotten at Walmart and the dressing from Burger King! The HIGH dollar you pay is not for the food! It's The River Scenery! That's All! Nothing Great about this place at all! I will not be back! Logans Roadhouse has a way better steak and it sure don't cost an arm and a leg!
My family and I went there today 5-13-2022 our first time. I've heard about this place for several years, how good it is. we loved it. their steaks melt in the mouth. I didn't use steak sauce because it was so good. the waitress was very nice and the owners were very on earthly friendly people. I enjoyed talking to them. I know that eating might be a little expensive, but for eating and service we had every penny worth for me. I'm back.
