Ted's Coney Island West - Urbandale

Always a treat. Best Gyro I had in Iowa next to the fair. As a southern guy, I love fried food. The Pommes and the Zartoin are always perfect.

Never been in another position, but really enjoy the food and the atmosphere here, love the Grecian Chicken with a Greek salad, watch that these olives have pits!

One of the best gyros I had!. I had a lot of Gyro's about the USA. The Gyro at Ted's Ranks up there with the top five .. maybe the top three! It was certainly the best I had in Des Moines! I'm sure I'm back!!!!

Best Gyros I've ever had. The Gyros here are to die for. Nectar of the gods stuff here. That's the problem. I'm sure the coney's, shap chicago-style dogs, and tenderloins are all good here as well, but I've never had any of them. The gyros are that good. When I come here, I can't pry myself away from ordering anything else. I look around the restaurant and I see 99% of the patrons eating exactly the same thing I am.

Only one problem for me when at Ted's; deciding between the dogs or the gyros. The Chicago style dogs are perfect on every way. They are matched by the equally top quality gyros.
