Four persons having dinner. We ordered four eggrolls for appetizers. The food was better than most places which I have eaten, with decent quantity. The orange chicken had an excellent flavor! We ordered hot tea, which was very hot and flavorful. The prices were very reasonable. View all feedback.

I wish I could give this place zero stars! I waited for 15 minutes without being able to place an order. There was only one other family there. The only thing the host/waitress/cook—who was all in one—said was to ask if we needed one or two checks. We decided to leave. Save your time and go somewhere else! Mayflowers Restaurant is a family tradition for us. My Mom used to work in Urbana and regularly ate here. Now we drive from Springfield to get this delicious Chinese Food. I love being able to dine in and chat with Carol the owner. She is so friendly and makes excellent recommendations. I had the beef and broccoli. The flavor was excellent.
This is one of my top recommendations on my list of highly suggested places for YOU to visit! I've been meaning to visit this place for some time. It's even in walking distance of my house. I am so sad that I waited as long as I did. Mayflowers is a very sweet and quaint place. Even the music is relaxing and gives the place a special atmosphere. It's also very clean and inviting. The food is very impressive. The eggrolls are phenomenal. So fresh and delicious!! Our meals were also so wonderful, and we all raved about it while we ate. The owner served us. She is so nice and sweet! It is easy to tell she has pride in her restaurant and in her recipes, and rightfully so. This was only my first visit, but I will DEFINITELY go back.
The owner Carol, husband Dale, are amazing people, they have been in business for a long time, and they love their community. They will go out of their way to fix you the best cuisine they can offer. They are very kind, down to earth, and they bring out the best in Champaigne County. I just can't say enough about how wonderful they are to know
We absolutely love carol and dale.carol is an amazeing lady. The food is always fantastic. You get more servings than you can eat at one setting.they treat you like you are the only special customers at that moment. I have watched her and dale interact with their customers and they go above and beyond to be sure your pleased. The atmosphere is very relaxing and very inviting.always a welcome place to visit to relax and enjoy great food and company. If you havent been yet or have been wanting to try mayflowers....dont wait...go ..enjoy.one and only place to enjoy dinner.
Got general tso’s chicken and egg rolls with fried rice. Absolutely awesome. Highly recommend for everyone. Great customer service with great food and prices
