Thai Diamond Restaurant - Urangan

All of our meals were delicious …. We had a variety of dishes and loved them all … we had Pork Yellow Curry, prawn Pad Thai, Pork Hokkien Noodle Chicken Garlic Pepper….. it was a great atmosphere and the service was lovely… We will be back..

So glad we came in for dinner! Such a unique place with beautiful artworks throughout the venue. Staff were cheerful, went out of their way to make sure all of our orders were correct. Great price for portion size. Were happy to provide takwaway containers for what we couldn't fit in too. You do have to tell them if you want spicey or not, our meals were a bit hit and miss with this but overall a very enjoyable night! It is a small venue so I do understand that a screaming child (seen in a previous review) would put people off as it, i wouldn't recommend dine in for younger families for this reason.. they do have take out

The staff is extremely rude, although there was one exception. The quality of the dishes was poor. We only come here because it's convenient since it's close to our home. Just a note: dining in is much better than ordering takeout.

Hervey Bay offers some of the best Thai food in the area, but the restaurant really needs to work on their wait time estimates. What was initially a 40-minute wait ended up being nearly double that at 75 minutes, which feels even longer on a dreary night while waiting outside. However, the meal was so delicious that it made the wait worthwhile. They would definitely earn an extra star if they could better manage expectations regarding wait times.

This restaurant offers some of the best Thai food I’ve enjoyed in a long time. The decor is beautiful, and the incredibly friendly staff contributes to a wonderful evening out.
