We had a great meal here with 3 adults and a toddler. Having travelled to Asia and lived in Sydney, this place will serve you authentic Thai, Vietnamese and Laos dishes. Their satay is amazing and the massaman curry is fantastic and the beef pulls apart. I love hot clean tasty Asian food and this paw paw didn't disappoint, but be warned it is warm but very very tasty as it will have you trying to finish the dish. If... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Champa Lao:
After reading positive reviews on TripAdvisor, we decided to visit this restaurant. Despite it being empty when we arrived, we were greeted warmly and promptly served tasty starters followed by our mains. We ordered the beef massaman and stir-fried chicken cashew, both of which were generous in portion and delicious. Unfortunately, the beef massaman was a disappointment as it seemed rushed and poorly made with large... View all feedback.
Not a swish restaurant but the food makes up for it. Pork belly was terrific as was the Thai beef salad.
The dinner we thoroughly enjoyed at Champa Lao was one of the best Thai meals we have experienced. Our family (2 adults and 2 kids - 15yo

Firstly, rather restricted dinner hours but still were adequate for our needs. Dinned as a group of four which included our grand daughter. Our family has travelled Asia extensively and are very familiar with Asian cuisine. The meals were found very satisfying and the service good. Would return there again.
A group of six people had dinner at Champa Lao. The service was excellent with an extremely polite young lady waiting on our table. Everyone was delighted with the quality and quantity of the various dishes ordered. My wife had Stir Fried Prawns which she said was delicious and I had the Lemongrass Chicken, also delicious. it seems that a new owner is in the process of taking over this little restaurant. I am expecting that she will continue with providing first class Asian meals and we will happily return to this restaurant in the near future. An altogether pleasant dining experience.
