The bagels are very fresh (we saw a guy making them in the back) and the sandwiches are very delicious. The veggie cream cheese is very flavorful also. The staff are decent and not overall friendly but not rude either. The prices are a little expensive, a family of four spent $36 on 4 sandwiches and 4 drinks. View all feedback.
What Isabella C doesn't like about Manhattan Bagel:
I was coming here for breakfast every other day up until they completely changed their staff. By the looks of it they have fired the old personnel and hired new people inexperience people who is still getting used to the job. The problem is not even the inexperience, is that they don't seem to have anyone with experience to train and supervise the new personnel. Now the service is just slow and bad; they've messed wit... Excellent place. Only reason it did not receive five stars was because the prices have been jacked up considerably in the last year. Rendering else was great! I'm not blaming them personally (not their fault), but it does take away from the overall experience.

Good location, easy to get in and out of. Service staff was friendly, bagels were delicious, and menu offerings were great too. Tried the 'JayNormous ' bagel sandwich. Sandwich tasted great, but tall cumbersome to weild. Would recommend any of the meats on it (sausage, ham, bacon), but in a more managable size.
Bagels are delicious and staff is so pleasant and polite.
Review specifically for the service received and for being overcharged. I went to Bagel Jays for a breakfast sandwich before work yesterday. The breakfast sandwich meat options include Ham, bacon or chicken sausage. I asked if I could substitute Turkey (due to dietary restrictions) and the woman taking my order looked at me as if I had 4 heads. She argued with me and claimed that wasn’t a breakfast sandwich. She acted dumbfounded and confirmed at least three times that I wanted Turkey on a bagel with egg and cheese instead of ham, bacon or sausage. Fortunately one of the women working with her came to my assistance and confirmed what I was ordering. I then go to check out and was charged the price of an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich PLUS the price of an entire separate Turkey sandwich. I tried to argue the charges but the cashier and the women making my sandwich said there was no way around it and if I wanted the Turkey then I needed to pay the “up-charge.” So I paid almost $13 for one breakfast sandwich. At this point the woman making my sandwich was acting even more confrontational and rude so I paid and left as soon as I could… I got my sandwich but I’m still angry, annoyed and confused how I ended up paying $13 dollars for a sandwich when all I asked for was a meat substitution.
