Was William B at Junior's Cheesecake . a mag?
My wife and I have been to Brooklyn 3 times in the last 3 months, and this place has been on out list. Finally got a chance to try it out, (unfortunately, alone! My wife had to tend to family issues) but the experience was still amazing! First, after I ordered my entree, the deluxe cheese burger with fries and rings, A combo of beets, dill pickles and a sweet relish/slaw, showed up out of nowhere. Then the expertly c... What Alivia Labadie dislikes about Junior's Cheesecake .:
Went Sunday around 9 am. Place only had a few tables filled. Quaint 1970’s paneled charm. Place was clean and we were greeted sat immediately.I ordered the classic eggs Benedict; poached medium. First order of food came out luke-warm with eggs poached with no cooking of the yolk. My guys were halfway through their breakfast before waitress came checked on us. Sent my food back. Second order had hot home fries but aga... View all feedback.

Came here to try the cheesecake with family who was in town and found the place packed at 9PM.
Junior's is known for their amazing cheesecake and the cheesecake does not disappoint! If you are visiting the city I highly recommend stopping by Junior's
Of course, this place is amazing. I just go to the cheesecake, I get either the red velvet cake or the simple one. I'd like to try the strawberry, but it's not halfway. the mood here is so cold and covered. I love the nyc historical mood that it has. When I visit people from the state, juniors is one of those places I have to bring so that they can get a bit. I'm going all the way from nj to get to the original juniors spot in brooklyn.
We came for a fast snack and some cheesecake, as it was highly recommended by several people. the cheesecake lived safely up to the height and was the perfect temperature, texture and taste. best cheesecake we've ever had....can't wait to have another piece. we were at 10 o'clock. it was clean and the staff was friendly.
A recent visit to this iconic restaurant left mixed reviews from diners. One customer was disappointed with the lackluster eggs Benedict and unappetizing cheesecake, while another found the service to be the highlight of their meal. The menu received criticism for overpriced and underwhelming dishes, while others raved about the open-faced turkey sandwich and combo pastrami and corned beef. The cheesecake, a longstanding favorite at Junior's, received high praise from most customers for its delicious taste and texture. Despite some shortcomings, the overall consensus was positive, with many diners complimenting the friendly staff and great service at this historic establishment.

Got the subway out to brooklynn from downtown Manhatten as wanted to try a more authentic amercian dinner, though there is one of these in times square. Place is large, was quiet when we went there, arround 10 am. Tried the french toast with canadian ham. Very good. Dishes come with stewed apples! Like the look of the cheesecakes, but having had sucj a large breakfast, didnt give it a try.
KNIFE WAS NOT SHARP ENOUGH TO CUT THE ENGLISH MUFFIN. MADE A BIT OF A NESS TRYING TO CUT. OVER ALL A GREAT EXPERIENCE
I just love Juniors restaurant Had so many good memories Was just there for a burger it was just the best..price has changed like every where But the the place is the same I just love it..Iam a old timer been going there for over forty years.me and my family..you will love too
My friend has been insisting I try the cheesecake here, so I wanted to come and have the full experience. I saw the Russian dressing praised in other reviews and decided I needed to try it, so I had the corned beef and pastrami combo. Honestly, I didn't taste a difference between the two. I've definitely had better versions of both. The Russian dressing was good, but it was much thicker and less sweet than I am used to! I tried the devil's food cheesecake and concluded that I still don't like the flavor of cheesecake, but the consistency was good. It broke apart on the fork easily. The best thing was the oreo milkshake. It was perfect.

It was my first time eating at Juniors. The food was great and the cheesecake was on point. The next time I'm in Brooklyn I would definitely go there again. Our server Kris was the best. It was 8 of us and she handled us with no problem. Loved the Ruben Combo
Ever since I had my first Junior's cheesecake back at their Central Station location which is now closed, I've been raving about it and recommended it to all of my friends who were visiting NY. However I was disappointed this time. It wasn't creamy enough and the taste was just a bit off. The lemon one didn't have enough lemon taste. The staff at the takeout counter seemed uninterested in serving customers. I stood there for 3-4 minutes without anyone telling me they would be right with me. And they were standing right there, two of them trying to figure out an order for another customer, but without any customer being there. A simple acknowledgment would have been just fine. And no smiles when they served me. Or maybe I'm just unfairly nit picking because I was disappointed with the cheesecake. You can make your own conclusions. P.S. I went to try the one in Times Square the next day and it was much better!
The food was delicious. The skin on the chicken was nice and crispy. There was a little too much sauce on the ribs for my taste but it was good overall.
Very disappointing experience dining here. It was my first time visiting a Junior’s restaurant, and it may as well be my last because I was not impressed at all. My friend and I went here on Sunday for lunch, as a belated birthday celebration. The hostess who seated us was pleasant and accommodated our request for a booth, but our server was beyond curt. She rushed us to place our orders and watched us like a hawk waiting for us to finish our food. She came to take my friend’s plate before she had even finished, and it left us with a very unpleasant sense of customer service. She did not provide very helpful information when I asked about the cheesecake varieties, it felt like she didn’t care at all about providing a positive experience to us. The food itself was very overpriced and not worth the price we paid.
(I'm a top 10% Google Reviewer) We happened upon this gem by accident. The outside was orange with lots of flashing yellow lights it reminded me of the Ruby Slipper in New Orleans. We walked in the front doors, and there were many people standing there in the bakery area waiting for pastries and

Go to Juniors with an empty belly or you won't be able to do justice to the gorgeous food. Well worth the walk over Brooklyn Bridge and another 20 minute walk to the restaurant. They are famous for their cheesecake so that's what we had and boy were they delicious. I had carrot cake cheesecake, my Mum had red velvet cheesecake and our friend had strawberry shortcake cheesecake. Only my Mum could finish hers. The young lady who served us was delightful. Very friendly, funny and chatty. Cannot recommend then enough
Exquisite Brooklyn dining experience in an authentic old school restaurant that appreciates the value of a classic meal. A must go to visit the quintessential Brooklyn charm. The decor and ambiance is haute vintage. The service is professional and the smiles are not lacking. The food is beautiful and delicious. Omelettes were perfectly fluffy and cooked just right. The coffee hit the spot. The orange and mustard decor style is really nice and the dessert cases are perfect eye candy.
Love the barbecue sauce on the the ribs, waiter did excellent job. The chicken was nice and crispy. Nice potion sizes. Hot food was hot. Cold food was cold. Strawberry Milkshake was on point. Large, delicious breaded onions rings. Loved the potatoe salad.
Juniors Restaurant Bar Downtown Brooklyn is a classic spot for American comfort food and desserts. The menu has something for everyone, from burgers and sandwiches to salads and soups. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. The service is fast and friendly, and the ambiance is cozy and lively. But the star of the show is the cheesecake, which is rich, creamy, and delicious. You can choose from different flavors, such as strawberry, chocolate, or plain. Juniors Restaurant Bar Downtown Brooklyn is a great place to enjoy a hearty meal and a decadent dessert.
Best. Cheesecake. Ever. We've been loyal eaters for generations. It's the smoothest, creamiest cheesecake you'll ever have. No messy graham cracker crust will do here. They showcase the filling by having a thin sponge on the bottom only. This makes it so it doesn't take away from the real star of the show. The strawberry shortcake is my second favorite. Though this particular time I didn't eat a meal, I had no shame in stopping in as party of one and ordering both the OG cheesecake and shortcake with a cup of coffee. Let me also tell you that this one slice of shortcake was about the size of my head. Even their strawberry sauce I wanted to drink. I also had to cut this in half in order to fit it in their big container and it still got squished in! I just ate for breakfast Worth every penny spent as always. The establishment itself is also beautiful. As you walk through, it has its own personalities. The rush of the bakery up front, counter service and bar seating, romantic, intimate, comfortable. There's no place like the original that's for sure.

The syrup for the Strawberry Shortcake was delicious as well as the actual cake. But that strawberry syrup/topping on the Strawberry cheesecake slice was horrible....it looked liked mixed up Strawberry jello and the taste was off. Think about using the syrup from the Strawberry Shortcake on the cheesecake
Their enormous burgers are simply THE BEST. And, 6" Strawberry Cheesecake as dessert. Rates as my favorite meal ever! I apos;ve been going to Junior apos;s for 35 years and they apos;re still always will be my favorite!
How do they consistently do everything perfectly? Food is ALWAYS outstanding, hot, fresh and comes in huge portions. Do your taste buds a favor and get some Juniors ASAP!
Juniors always makes great food. And the delivery is no different. I got the grilled cheese and it was still hot when I got it.

Then the expertly cooked well done burger , killed it, with its charred and tender yummy goodness. I did call the misses and let her know where I was, and of course she made sure I would bring home their signature and famous cheesecake
I only wanted to order the cheesecake when I was told we can eat there. And eat there we did! Food was amazing. Comfort food! And their people, especially Josie who welcomed us, were warm and friendly. Looking forward to going back.
Loved this restaurant and trying new things. The menu is so extensive it's quite overwhelming but I can't see how you could wrong with anything here. I had to save space in my stomach for the ultimate dessert! It looked so amazing I just had to try it. Of course neither of us finished it

My burger came out within 10 minutes of my sitting down. My server was excellent, as was the food. And my strawberry shortcake cheesecake was exceptionally good. I would definitely recommend- especially for the $5 beer happy hour. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5
Visited Junior’s in Brooklyn and tried their red velvet and chocolate cupcakes along with a slice of chocolate fudge cake—everything was absolutely delicious! The cupcakes were moist and flavorful, and the chocolate fudge cake was rich, decadent, and melt-in-your-mouth good. The seating was comfortable, and the overall vibe was great for relaxing and enjoying a sweet treat. I couldn’t resist snapping a few photos—it all looked just as amazing as it tasted. Definitely worth a visit! Service: Dine in Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Visited Junior’s during our stay in New York and overall, it was a very pleasant experience. The atmosphere in the restaurant is lively and welcoming, with a classic New York charm that really adds to the dining experience. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel well looked after throughout our visit. The food was generally good – we tried a few different dishes and everything was nicely presented and flavourful. I did order a steak, which I felt could have been seasoned a bit better and cooked with a touch more finesse, but it was still enjoyable. Prices are what you’d expect in New York – definitely not cheap, but fair given the location and popularity of the place. All in all, I’d be happy to return. It's a spot with character, great service, and a menu that offers plenty of choice. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
