What Katelin Schultz doesn't like about Genghis Grill:
I love love Genghis Grill. It's my 2nd favorite restaurant. But the experience on my Birthday was not good. Our waiter was non attentive but I did see they are hiring but it was the food for me. I've never had bad experience until now. I never said fried rice but I just let it go. It was my birthday what could be that much difference between white or fried. It was the portion. I had to take my meat home and cook me s... View all feedback.

I will start by saying my husband and I have been here on multiple occasions and always get the same 2 male waiters that are friendly and helpful. I received a birthday reward last week (BOGO) and decided to use it on my birthday. When the coupon said can only be used on a small or medium, I assumed that meant that my free one could only be small or medium. I showed the coupon to our waitress when we got there and she said she would apply it at the end. She was short with us and really quite rude. I also saw her arguing with a table across from us. We ordered a large and a medium, and when we went to pay, she told us the coupon isn 't valid and then just walked away. My husband asked that she go try again. She seemed frustrated. Eventually we asked for a manager who said that it was because we had to order 2 mediums. We said we would pay for the large and didn 't expect it to be free and knew we would have to pay extra. The manager on duty rolled her eyes. She said she had to make a call. We sat there for 20 minutes before she came back and said she won 't honor it and we have to pay full price. She was extremely rude and I 've never seen someone so willing to lose a customer that was wanting to pay the restaurant more money than what was required. I guess common sense really isn 't common anymore. Needless to say, I will not be going back again. Which is unfortunate because every time I have been there, the restaurant is empty. I had the Bangkok with Cauliflower rice, and I give it a 7 out of 10. My husband had the Teriyaki chicken with white rice, and he gives it a 3. The dish was too sour, not enough sweet or heat. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
