Nice chill little spot to check out if your in the east side of the Saint Paul area...has a nice out door patio and garden...the vibes are legit. Everything tasted fresh and was made to order with the quickness, didn’t wait long at all. However, I feel like my breakfast sandwich was a little pricey for what it was...BUT, it still tasted great! What My Nietzsche doesn't like about Swede Hollow Cafe:
I visited twice in the last month and it is not what it used to be. I had a dirty chai which didn't taste like chai and had just a hint of coffee taste and I had a miel which wasn't very tasty. Both seemed weak and watered down. I used to love the chai but no more. I am saddened that this once awesome place doesn't serve the quality product it used to. I’ve lived in this area my whole life and have never stopped here, which I have discovered was a mistake, because WOW this place is amazing! The employee that took my order was very sweet and answered my probably goofy “first-timer” questions without judgement. The food was very tasty, and the atmosphere is nice! I haven’t explored the whole space but I saw the patio out back and it’s gorgeous, and the main level is great too, but it’s a little noisy for my liking personally. But I think there is also an upper level that I haven’t seen that is likely more quiet as it is away from the kitchen. I ordered the toasted four cheese sandwich and chickpea and spinach soup, pictured (with the soup partially eaten because I couldn’t wait to try it in my review.
A quintessential breakfast spot. The coffee selection is massive and the food is always delicious- caramel roll is a must!
Such a cute place! Food is very yummy, staff is kind, and the environment is peaceful and wonderful.
Great little hide out for getting some work done on the laptop with a cozy atmosphere
The outdoor seating is amazing and the food is great.
