Hoo's is our go to place for quick BBQ in T town. Service is exceptional and food is always great. This is THE best value for your in Tuscaloosa, so skip Dreamland (overrated) and come here. Nowhere else can you get 4 meaty pork ribs for 7. Also love the pulled pork, potato salad, beans and make sure you get extra sides of the grilled okra. Finish it off with the 3 banana pudding thank me later. View all feedback.
What Завиша Екмеџић doesn't like about Hoo's Q:
I am visiting Tuscaloosa, my home town. Staff very nice. Restaurant clean but sparse on decor. Called in an order. Picked it up. Got back to my hotel and instead of the pimento bites, I had a pimento/cheese sandwich. I tasted it. OK, but far from delicious. The bbq pork had a very good flavor, but more shredded than I personally like. BBQ sauce was flavorful. Cole slaw bland and very underwhelming. Looked and tasted... View all feedback.
Eating was great. I don't know why I happened this place so often and didn't stop.. I'm back.
These youngs joined back after the tornado. definitely my favorite grill sandwich.
Hoo’s is our destination for fast grill in T-town. service is exceptional and eating is always great. this is the best worth for their $ in tuscaloosa, so skip dreamland (overrated) and come here. Nowhere else can they get 4 fleshy pork ribs for $7. they also love the pulled boar, kartoffel salad, bor and make sure they get additional sides of the grilled okra. they end it with the $3 bananenpudding thank you later.
That was great. the customer service was excellent. chasity and kollin were very nice and made sure that my order was correct before I left the load. good customer service has become something they hope for, but not always. has this great team done?

The bbq pork had a very good flavor, but more shredded than I personally like. BBQ sauce was flavorful. Cole slaw bland and very underwhelming. Looked and tasted like mass produced from a supplier rather than home made. Baked beans had a decent flavor but dry for my liking. For take out, the presentation was well executed. I did call back about not getting the pimento bites and the person quickly offered to make it right if I would come back. I chose not too though. I wish the establishment well but doubtful I would eat there again.
