However, some diners were disappointed by the lack of options for celiac vegetarians and the limited menu choices. While the taster plates received mixed reviews, especially for the quality of the food, others enjoyed the cheese plate and wine. Despite these issues, the staff were consistently praised for their friendly and attentive service. The restaurant remains a busy spot for both lunch and dinner, offering a variety of tapas options that some diners found delicious. Overall, Kipling's is recommended for special occasions or family dinners, particularly for those looking for a cozy atmosphere and diverse menu options.
Great good and service! Nice authentic food. Good location. Nice decoration inside but not always great live music.
I have been to Kiplings many times, each time I can say the food is great but I feel a bit down when I get the bill. The concept is great but you will not get much change. They had a good selection of Tapas and finger food.
I have eaten at Kiplings on many occasions for both lunch and dinner and personally I prefer the dinner menu. I love the variety of finger food options and the ability to share everything you order-a perfect way to taste any many of the yummy dishes as possible! Love the fireplace during winter too!
Came for dinner and ordered most things off the tapas menu since everything sounded amazing!Portions were decent as it was tapas, but also because it was tapas it was a little more expensive.Drinks were great! For dinner we ordered: Pork belly, chilli caramel, pickled cucumber (yum) , Salt and pepper calamari with rocket and aioli, lamb ribs (juicy and decent amount), crab croquettes, sticky honey soy chicken drumsticks and Fish tacos with jalapeno sauce (my favourite). For dessert: Lychee Pavlovawith vanilla cream, pineapple, passionfruit and Crème brulee, summer berries, almond biscottiWouldn't mind coming here again for special occasion and would love to try their lunch menu!
2nd visit for lunch with friends and have to say all our food was well cooked and presented Service was slow as the place was very busy and only 2 waitresses and a supervisor on the floor ,but in saying that they were all very pleasant and hard working just needed another pair of hands Servings of mains are quite small but tasty Desserts were well priced and delicious as was the coffee which I thought was excellent
