What C M doesn't like about Torchy's Tacos:
20+ minute wait for a single takeaway taco. 11a and less than a dozen people in the place. Blaming it on a large catering order (happy for them) but maybe let customers know up front that the kitchen is a mess?!? Used to live off Torchy’s when I was in TX but this location the flavors, the hours, the ethos pales in comparisonFood: 3/5.
Good was pretty good and affordable. I asked for jalapeños and did not get them... but I'll give them another try. By the time they brought them, I was finished eating. Yes I paid extra for them.Food: 5/5

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Torchy's Tacos, and I must say it was an absolute flavor fiesta! From the moment I walked through the doors, the vibrant atmosphere and enticing aromas set the stage for an exceptional dining experience.Torchy's Tacos boasts an extensive menu that caters to all taste preferences, with a variety of mouthwatering options for both meat lovers and vegetarians alike. As a self-proclaimed taco connoisseur, I was excited to dive into their selection, and I was not disappointed. To start, I ordered the Chips and Queso, a classic favorite that surpassed my expectations. The queso was rich, creamy, and perfectly seasoned, and the chips were delightfully crisp. It was the ideal appetizer to kick off my Torchy's adventure.
We love Torchy’s Tacos. We first had Torchy’s in Dallas and anytime we can find one in a new city, we have to go. The food is excellent. The staff is great and the atmosphere is great. The restaurant is very clean and open and the menu is easy to read. They have a lot of unique tacos to choose from. There is also a kids menu and plenty of delicious “fun drinks” as my kids call it. When we say “fun drinks” we are not talking about coke products but more of the juice/tea dispensers that they have. There was a mango one that was really delicious.I also want to note that the bathrooms were really clean and there was easy parking.Kid-friendliness: Our kids loved the tacos that they ordered and they enjoyed their fun drinks. They do use “.damn” in their marketing and it’s in big letters on the wall
This one's going to be a love it or hate it. We have Torchy's in Kansas City and really enjoy it but This one is a full urban hipster scenario. If that describes you then you're going to love this restaurant. The atmosphere and clientele and staff fit this description. That's not really us and so I didn't really enjoy it but That's not a quality issue of any kind just simply not a fit. I'm sure people local to Tulsa know this before they come but if you're out of town like I am just letting you know. By the way if you're not familiar with Torchy's make sure to learn the secret menu because some of the best stuff is on the secret menu!
