We enjoy having breakfast here on Sunday mornings. The location on 61st Street in Tulsa is far superior to the one in Broken Arrow. It is clean and the staff is polite. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Gym:
The karaoke experience at this restaurant was fantastic. There was a wait for seating, but the service, drinks, and overall atmosphere were great. It's a small place, but it was a lot of fun. View all feedback.
Try the Chicken Fried Chicken! It is on the breakfast menu, lunch, AND dinner menu. It is tasteful, delicate, crispy coating....did I say tasteful? DH also liked everything he ordered. Service is very good. The decor is really sweet. Americana with apples and apple baskets. I think they should put some apple desserts on the menu.
Sundays with Kassidy are a great way to end up a weekend. My fur buddy Chase LOVES the friendly atmosphere!
Nice hole in the wall spot. They host karaoke regularly. There is a pool table and a fair amount of seating.
I am a fan of the small Apple Barrel Cafe chain in the Tulsa area. I typically utilize the one in Broken Arrow, but today I was near the one on 61st Street in Tulsa. I was warmly greeted upon entering, and told to pick any spot I wanted. I did, and as I sat down I was greeted by a most charming waitress and a glass of water. I ordered a chicken fried steak, two eggs over medium, hash browns, and whole wheat toast. The food arrived fairly quickly, and looked good, and tasted good too. I must mention the chicken fried steak was such a large portion that it was served, and took up an entire dinner plate! What I noticed was that all of the waitresses were extremely friendly with all of the diners. The atmosphere at this diner was fun and festive, with a lot of interaction among the wait staff and the diners. The food was very good, but the atmosphere was even better! I will definitely be going back...
Karoake night I the best Saturday with Angela Angel! Great crowd and drink are affirdable
