A Contender. My friend is on a quest to find the best Chili Relleno in town, a quest I am more than happy to accompany him on. We went last Friday. Nice small restaurant located in a strip mall behind Quick Trip. As with most Mexican places they hadn't invested a lot in decor but every thing was clean and there were small touches to make you think of south of the border. Their chips are the large style, like a fried... View all feedback.
What Shea Roberts doesn't like about La Hacienda:
Mexican breakfast. okay, put us hard to find, first second I could better have breakfast at sonic or at least what I wanted. I was looking for a Mexican style breakfast place in tulsa, so it's not. Eating was just not what advertised. I couldn't even get what was disappointed on the menu. View all feedback.
Morose service, but delicious food. We arrived to an empty restaurant at about 1pm. The waiter that came to our table maintained a blank face and spoke few words. The atmosphere was... a little dull. My girlfriend and I shared the fajitas for two with shrimp, chicken and beef. Thankfully, the food was excellent. The portion was a bit large, but delicious enough for us to make a valiant effort at finishing it. As we ate, more people came into the restaurant, improving the atmosphere somewhat. Tasty food, but a bit depressing when you're the only people in the building.
Home made Mexican food from family recipes. The owners are from Jalisco and the food is made from scratch using fresh ingredients. Their carnitas may be my favorite dish at any restaurant in Tulsa. Delicious fajitas cooked to order. If you feel like a lighter meal have their seafood salad. The gringo breakfast is the best value breakfast in Tulsa!
Very good for a small restaurant. This restaurant is hiidden in a strip center but is a wiinner. Food is authentic and menu has wide variety of items. For health concsious diners they have whole wheat tortillas
Good Food but Strange Atmosphere. Came in for breakfast but ended up ordering the gorditas....it comes with three and got one pork, one beef and one chicken. The pork (carnitas) were by far my favorite. My wife ordered the breakfast quesadilla and it was large and good. The chips are corn tortillas and the salsa is a Verde type. Not crazy about the salsa. The interior is clean but weird, carpet floor and sparse decor. It seats about 40 people but has no atmosphere. Cannot see the kitchen so you are just looking at yellow wall and the weird Mexican kool-aid machine running. When we got there was two other couples but was eerily quiet. The other couples soon left so it was just my wife and I until we finished.... Again food is good but strange atmosphere. .
Great big breakfast, yummy lunch. I've been here twice both times very happy with the food and service. The only thing they need is a bigger sign so people coming off brookside can see them. The salsa verde is perfect.
