The facility is partly still from the German predecessor, so that this snack differs somewhat from other Turkish performances with the usual station lighting. The food is good, typical Turkish, next to the usual diner, also changing delicious dishes with and without meat. Superlecker is Iskender Kebap, as in Turkey and probably the best in the city! At the beginning they made this on our express wish, now it is on th... View all feedback.
What Rolf-Dieter Philipp doesn't like about Restaurant Istanbul:
Man wurde von wortkargen Servicemitarbeitern recht kühl bzw. unfreundlich empfangen. Döner-Teller mit Pommes für 7,50 Euro wäre eigentlich ok; leider gibt es weder Zwiebeln, noch scharfe Sauce oder ähnliches dazu. Das Fleisch schmeckt so eigentlich nach nichts. Die Pommes waren gut.... View all feedback.
When I'm in Germany, I always try a kebab at least once. this was a convenient place, cheap and standard, but with good quality kebab (as well as some other options.) I ordered to go, but it was possible to eat there too.
The cashier was incredibly rude, told me not to think he rushed to order me, was very rough about how long it took, although there was no one behind me in the line and I stood back to obviously read the menu somehow. I had a long day of travel and the menu was extensive. I realized after I ordered and paid €5.50 that it wasn't even what I wanted because I was hurried. I asked a customer who had arrived and just ordered what I would apparently get a question, and the cashier was so incredibly rude he showed on me and said they had to stop. I was so stupid that someone could really be so rude. I literally walked out of the unbelievable without my eating. I came back to express exactly why I would not eat my order - I said they can keep it, give it to someone else - I don't want to eat it anymore because they are very rude. I should have gone out earlier and saved myself from spending €5.50 to be treated dreadfully and to remain unfeeded. avoid this place to all costs unless they may be treated terriblely. don't waste your money or your time here.
Had the Kabob wrap. made with love. was so full when we were gone. several languages spoken. rest rooms and many seats. next to the river. many activities. good value and many menu items.
A place between a locanta and your corner doner, Istanbul could not decide on its profile. They serve everything: soups, pide, doner, grilled meat, and all sorts of typical warm dinner dishes. If you go there not expecting a restaurant (with a card and waiter),...but a, well, quick food fix (still: served at the tables and on glass plates), it will probably work for you. Considering the price, it is good relation of value for money. I was happy there and found food tasty, but two of my Turkish friends did not share the enthusiasm.
It is a Turkish cafe and canteen style. The food is good and the quantity is large. A good place to have a warm and quick meal
