Having to wait an hour to be seated is completely unnecessary but that is the standard here. But the truth is the food is always worth it. The service is just okay but this last time I was there, our server (Elsa) was beyond outstanding. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are large. View all feedback.
What Dave N doesn't like about Mi Nidito:
Ordered the presidential plate and the chili relleno wasn’t cooked fully. Had to use a knife to cut through it. The tamale tastes and looks like the premade junk you buy at the grocery store. I thought my experience with the family would be great, but I ended up spending $100 on low quality food. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner View all feedback.
An hour waiting to sit is completely unnecessary, but this is the standard here. but the truth is that eating is always worth it. the service is simply okay, but this last time I was there, our server (elsa) was overwhelming. the prices are very reasonable and the shares are large.
I had number 5, the carne con chile verde, it was above average. the woman had the abondegas. It was pretty good. the margarita and guacamole were good. for a Thursday evening the waiting period was 50 minutes, I guess because of a personal shortage, because when we sat about 1/3 of the seats inside was empty.
Homemade food, delicious recipes and friendly service. best Mexican place to try in tucson.
Eating authentic mexicans that tastes incredible. we're going half an hour to come here and wait an hour or so to eat, so they know that eating must be good!
My brother in law recommended this place and we are HUGE fans of authentic Mexican food. It was a spot on recommendation and the other 5 with us all loved about their food. Yes, it was busy and we had to wait but they served drinks efficiently in the waiting area and were very friendly and pleasant. Everything we ate was better than the last. The chips salsa were dynamite, the Guacamole was like butter (even my husband liked it and he's not a fan) and tortilla/cheese was a unique but great appetizer also. Meals were large and flavorful. The beans and rice were good also. I give this 5 stars! A great place to eat good Mexican food that is not the American version so many places serve.
