Have never, ever, been disappointed here, and we’ve been going for 10 years. Their fish is prepared skillfully and tastefully. They know seafood must be cooked perfectly or it’s dry, fishy or tasteless. Oysters are always fresh and varied in types and areas harvested. Their “Hawaiian” macadamia nut fresh fish is scrumptious no matter what the fish or preparation. Service is professional and pleasant. Bar is top notch... View all feedback.
What Laurent Marion doesn't like about Kingfisher Bar & Grill Restaurant:
My family just celebrated a birthday here, I had to work late and couldn?t make it. And this was what I received?. 3 fish sticks with some soggy lettuce and probably the driest coleslaw Iv ever had in my life. Was really looking forward to an amazing fish fry when I came home ? View all feedback.
The food was excellent. Our waitress was not that good. She asked us when we were ready to order if we wanted bread because it takes minutes. After minutes we asked again and the person who brought our water said he would let our waitress know. She came back and said it was going to be a few more minutes our food came and we never got our bread until we were almost finished eating. She did not do that good in other ways also. Sorry FOOD WAS EXCELLENT
The spinach salad was excellent... and the special Reisling was great... it was dry with a touch of sweet.. The Bouilabase was much better than what we got in m=Marseills where it was invented. Oysters were very fresh... but I wish they would explain what the little sauces they serve with them... Had no idea what they were other t han the typical sea food sauce.
There’s a reason Kingfisher has survived so long in Tucson: reliably good food and service. We had the specials of the night and both were delicious. Perfectly prepared, smoky trout and a moist, macadamia-crusted Hawaiian fish. We also tried dessert. The flourless chocolate torte was perfectly sweet—not too bitter but not sickeningly sweet either. The carrot cake was moist and nicely spiced. We also appreciated their attention to masking, distancing, and overall care for the wellness of their patrons. They have the tables spread out more than pre-Covid, and require reservations. We will definitely come back more frequently given our good experience here.
Great food. The fish dip was yummy. The servers were attentive and thoughtful.
Food was wonderful, service was good but the waitress could have been better. The manager was so attentive. It was an enjoyable experience.
