Contribute Feedback What Robert M likes about Butcher Brothers:
The food here is a welcome surprise in side the Whole Foods Market at Bridgeport. Wide selection of smoked meats (perfectly done) to have plain or in a sandwich. I recommend the beef brisket sandwich with the works. The meat is piled high, so you actually get a good deal despite the high cost. My son recommends the baby-back ribs, and my daughter likes the pulled pork. Free beans and extra BBQ sauce is a great perk.... View all feedback.
What Jj D doesn't like about Butcher Brothers:
They used to be decent. Last time I went the brisket was tough and the bark translucent and flavorless. Also, they used to serve so some tasty beans but, last time I went, they said they don 't make those anymore. View all feedback.
This is such an unexpected but fantastic little place right in the heart of the Bridgeport Whole Foods! I've been several times and I can't share about it enough. I'm not a huge BBQ fan, but Butcher's Brother does it right their brisket and tri trip has incredible depth of flavor and their burgers are some of best. I always pair my meal with something they've got on tap (usually a local brew) and chill out. Despite being in the middle of a fairly popular grocery store, it's not too noisy and it's never been too crowded when I've come, usually around happy hour (3 6pm). It's got a rustic farmhouse vibe and it feels like it's own little oasis I've even brought a book and read here and I've seen other students bring their laptops to study. It's a great place for people of all ages and its got something for everyone. There's ample seating both at the bar and at tables and the service is pretty spot on. Overall, it's a great place with well made, quality food for a fair price. You can even get a $4 pint during happy hour! If you're in the area or just need a quick break while shopping, definitely check this place out.
This is inside Whole Food market in the back. I never noticed it until hockey season when I saw their tv at the bar (they serve beer). I also saw they had pulled pork samiches, so I had to get one. Very tasty. Better, by far, than the last 2 establishments I've visited. Meat is done quite well and there are usually 2 varieties, one with more char! The bun is crispy/chewy enough, the coleslaw and extras add to the samiche. Add a Mac n Jack beer and this is a near perfect lunch. Only needs sweet potato fries to really be perfect. Second best pulled pork in Oregon.
Tasty puller pork and brisket. The buns they use are to die for! The server was friendly and place was clean. A little hard to find since it's inside of Whole Foods.
This is four star food but 2 star service. I found this on Yelp and drove around the building a few times before I noticed it's inside Whole Foods. Decided to try a brisket sandwich which was very good. I also tried the tater tots and they did not disappoint. I was also happy to see that they served cold beer. On the negative side the meat was not very hot and the service was horrible. There was one person working and they seemed to be stuck in 2nd gear...
