Coming through town and stopped in for dinner. The wait staff was attentive and polite. We were sat very quickly. Nice atmosphere but the temperature was artic. My wife wore my zip up sweater but it didn't help much. Subtracted a star for that. No pleasant at all. On to the food. Huge portions. I had the braised short rib over risotto with roasted veggies. Absolutely a delight. Meat was tender with flavorful sauce. R... View all feedback.
Nice to have a vegan option on this side of the city. It is usually slow at this point so the staff usually a dode when you come to pick up your food. You can tell it strange in your meal, but you can! I'm three times in a row now. My little spruces from kale are usually more plentiful, but hey. The food is decent so I can handle it. I enjoy the food and customer service from the camp-Kreek location better.
An interesting find on the south side of the city. It is embedded in a larger plaza with other Asian shops and strange enough, a Dairy Queen. You have several vegan sandwiches, sides, desserts and drinks to choose from. I ordered the Black Bean Burrito and a page of Zets. The burrito tastes more like an egg roll and I wasn't mad at it. It had carrots, cabbage, rice, black beans and a soy meat. The ingredients themselves were not seasoned, but complicated themselves in a way that was not insulting and did not make it as bland as it would otherwise have been. If they had a way to add some warmth, like maybe something sriracha, that would have been great! My niece ordered the Philly-Käse-Steak (vegan) and the Pommes frites cut into slices that were crushed and fried. She loved both. She also ordered the raspberry mousse cakes she ate it later, so I have no feedback about it yet. They do not allow indoor B subbing to comment on this experience. Maybe we'll get rid of pandemic under control. I'll make orders by then.
I and the woman were in Atlanta for a concert and were looking for vegan food near our hotel. The place was the only one in the area so we decided to check it. We go in and are greeted by the very friendly lady at the counter. She asks about us and where we are from, and deals with a really pleasant conversation. We order the Bbq sand, the grilled chicken sandwich, the Pommes frites and the Mac and cheese. There are no tables at the place, but their is a long wooden bench attached to a wall to wait for guests who was really the only negative, but the experience was amazing so I won't pull out a star. We get pink lemonade and the sweet tea from the self-service drink station, it was a little sweet for our taste buds but I thought the taste was still really good. The food comes out in time and we get our food in a brown paper bag, and the optimistic front cahsier informs us that it is ok to eat on the bank. We dig in and are immediately overwhelmed how good our sandwiches are. Everything is incredibly fresh and the flavors were strong and tasty. The Mac and cheese is unique as it looked and tasted as it was grilled, which was a welcome taste. The Pommes Frites were well done and exactly what you want from fried pimples. We buy an Eclair Desert Mug on the way out and eat it back in our hotel and it was in line with the rest of the food, as it was just incredible. For anyone who thinks about food here: The food is amazing. If you don't mind taking it either to eat outside on the bench or in the lawn area, then you are overwhelmed by the aromas. For the owners and employees: I don't know why there are no tables, but if you remove the bank and put some tables in the house, the place would be perfect, but as I said, the food was so good that the establishment was still worthy of the 5 stars.
We've tried the impossible burger with vegan bacon, the super shell, the fried cauliflower wings and the Philly cheese steak. I eat for health (maybe you can choose the one meal I had ha! and my husband feels good to decide only for vegan things I think we have enough tasty options here for both of us to be happy. Support more vegan spots and def try it if you focus on taking a less meat diet!
This charming restaurant serves up scrumptious dishes. Four of us dined here and each ordered a different item. The ribs, cheesesteaks, bruschetta, and fries were all fantastic! The prices were reasonable and the service was friendly. I definitely recommend this place!
