What Lars B doesn't like about Solsiden Uteservering:
Got seated next to the door. We asked politely if they could close it as the cold wind from outside was making us uncomfortable. They could not, making the meal very unpleasant. Took forever to get the food and as the coffee machine was broken a real cup of coffee was out of the question. Not even a cup of tea. Real pricy too. Thumbs down. View all feedback.
As we're walking back to the train station, I start to get hungry. Let's be honest I'm usually hungry. Most of the places on this strip look similar, so it's only by chance we strolled into Una. I'm glad we did though, we were able to get some really good drinks and food, and this is basically our last meal before leaving the country. For drinks, I got the Bramble then an old fashion. The bramble was really good, but I'd forgotten how sweet they were. It tasted like a sweet tart and it's good for one but I had to switch. The old fashioned was unexpectedly awesome. It's really easy to mess up but the bartender did a great job and you gotta love the ice spheres. For dinner I had the bistecca and the bruschetta. The bruschetta surprised me, in a good way. It was a huge piece of toast covered in tomatoes and mozzarella and then prosciutto. The presentation was awesome and the saltiness of the prosciutto really added some character. The bistecca came with a side salad which is helpful considering I'm normally a meat and potato kinda guy, and a side of fries. Mmm, fries. It was cooked just right and had just a bit of fat on it to add some extra flavor and texture. Not out of this world but a really solid choice. With so many places in Trondheim, it's a bit hard to pick, but you should definitely add this place to your list of staples.
Amazing food. Great wait staff, very attentive and kind servers. Our main host Alex and server in training Emma made your experience 5 stars! Ps: Emma needs to be full-time staff and not be in training!
Love it! Best pizza...just like the best pizza from my home town! You have to try it!
