Mini House - Trivandrum

We use the Mini house restaurant Dolphin on a regular basis, the Mini House is fortunate enough to have one of the best Chefs in the area Shibu who has a professional caring attitude to his cooking.Good views although can be a bit noisy with the waves crashing on the rocks below if the sea is rough, pleasant surroundings set on two levels the lower one being right next to the sea.Situated just a short distance from the lighthouse it is well worth a visit.RegardsIan

I used to stop off here at this little Hotel just for a drink. Their balcony looks out over the Indian Ocean and I would watch the most wonderful sunsets and listen to the waves crashing over the rocks beneath.

But we did have coffee and breakfast a few times and it was fine. Nice to sit upstairs and look out over the beach without being pestered by the hawkers.

I visited the Mini House for Dinner after a nice walk at the Lighthouse beach. The restaurant has an awesome view of the sea which makes it worth visiting the restaurant.Though, the service was equally bad. I entered the restaurant at 9:25 PM and the waiter straighaway told me in a rude language that I need to order within a minute or two else they will not take the order.I ordered a soup (one by two) which he plainily refused. He told that he will provide an extra bowl but we have to divide it ourselves. I have this experience first time and I am a very frequent traveller.Though, finally food (soup and noodles) come and I have to mention that both tasted bad. We left more than half un-touched and left the place in a hurry.I would not suggest this restaturant to anyone though it have a lovely view of the sea. Please avoid.

Beatles is one favorite spot overlooking the gorgeous Arabian sea at Kovalam Beach. The ambience is very grunge and rustic will some great pictures adorning the wall. Its carefully furnished for a great café appeal. The view is speechless and never to be missed. Best place for a sundowner refresher or stimulating tea/ coffee and to experience the beach and café bathed in orange glow. Its one of most the Instagram featured spot in Kovalam. The food is amazing too and a very warm homely feel. All patrons are part of their family and gets pampered with excellent food and service. Mr. Benny runs the show and you could count on him to have a great experience on all your visits. Fresh catch from sea is one of their USP! We always look forward to an opportunity to visit Beatles and never miss one.
