Crab Club - Trivandrum

Visited with wife. Service was not easy with many questions about what should be basic things. Food was ok but by far what was most annoying and spoied evening was price of beer was at best 40 percent more than all other restaurants and up to 50 percent more. Of course I questioned why an average resturant in a busy resort is so much more expensive than all other restaurants but was not given a valid reason. Ok restaurant if u are not planning to drink alcohol.

Excellent restaurant right on the beachfront with great views, especially at sunset. Staff were really friendly and helpful and the food was fantastic, especially the seafood !

We stumbled on the restaurant one morning while looking for a place for breakfast. After climbing a few steps up to the restaurant we were welcomed warmly and shown to a table at the front of the restaurant overlooking the beach. The slightly raised position of the restaurant gives a good view over the beach and the promenade. The restaurant soon became our favourite place to eat due to the great food and enthusiastic welcome we received each time we visited. They were kind enough to create dishes for us that were not on the menu or to adjust the spice levels of dishes that were. It was my wife’s birthday while we were here and with a little pre-planning they decorated part of the restaurant with balloons and streamers which made her day. These people are so thoughtful. We will miss the guys at the restaurant now that we are leaving but hope to come back soon.

Clean and good ambience. Slightly elevated from the road level so good view of the ocean. We ordered crabs and tiger prawns, which were fresh and absolutely delicious. Food served with french fries and salad too. Service and hospitality added to a relaxed experience. Crab Club restaurant is a must visit, would have loved to go there again for an evening meal too. The restaurant offers a fantastic view of the beach and has a simple decor. The food is delicious, and we dined here three times. I recommend trying the seafood platter, coconut fish curry, and Kerala fish curry. The vegetable pakoras were also delicious.
