My wife and I had chicken mushroom pasta, fried chicken and a margarita pizza. It was all very good but I especially liked the fried chicken as it was boneless. The staff kindly turned on the air con for us as we were the only customers dining in at the time. View all feedback.

I ordered a hawian pizza for the kids and couldn't believe they left the table after 1 slice and said they were full. So i tasted it. Most disgusting thing i have ever tasted.I'm not sure what was in the sauce but it wasn't pleasant and the base was like clag. It ended up in the bin. View all feedback.

We are currently enjoying a vegetarian pizza and a Mel's pizza... they are absolutely delicious! Can't wait to visit again soon girls! Cheers!
Mel's is our go-to spot every week because of its great atmosphere, delicious food - especially the pizza and boneless chicken, friendly staff, and reasonable prices.
Mel's in Cairns serves the best pizza without a doubt! Don't waste your time on other places that just serve you bread with cheese. Treat your tastebuds and satisfy your stomach at Mel's.
Reasonably priced at $16 compared to $25-35 on the beach front. Pizzawas thin crust and had a crisp taste which perhaps would be ideal for those who like authentic pizzas rather than Australian interpretation (over zealous amounts of topping and generous cheese . Unfortunately I do prefer Australian interpretation and found myself wishing I ordered the family rather than a larger pizza to feed my partner and I as the pizza was tasty but not filling. Nevertheless, good pizza :
