Les Granges du Lac - Tresserve

First surprise is a noise level inside with a street just in front of the restaurant you hear nothing of it inside very well isolated. The staff is nice and friendly, inside arrangements friendly wood, stones, fireplace, a fairly large place for children... to play and super lake and Montaigne view. In addition, the food is really delicious salads, raclette and definitely the best cheese fondue around Aix les Bains is not an emerald and good quality of cheese selection! I'll be back soon.

We found this place very special. The food was beautifully presented and was absolutely excellent. We were surprised by the great selection of local cheese and meat in our starter to share only Euro 13,50 for two people. That's generous! Our main course was the meat they smoke for three (! hours and the result is juicy, tasty and, honestly, unique. At 17.00 euros it was also really affordable. The service was amazing. We came too early for dinner, but they offered a starter to fill the time and really take care of us. The ambience/decor was creative. They have made it warm and welcoming with a number of places to sit and eat. It is decorated to feel both locally and tastefully. They are also child-friendly, with a menu and a playground. They also have a super small shop selling the food they serve. We were so impressed by this place we asked who was behind it. Apparently, the couple that owns it have very strong values that drive their work and their food choices. You can say that! Here is heart and excellence.

During our vacation around Chambery Annecy we eat the best steak and fonduta in this restaurant. The steak was very well cooked and meat was delicious. Fonduta was amazing Cook and owners were very friendly; the waiter very unkind and rude.

The restaurant found quite random when looking for place to eat, along the lake. I decided to stay there only because full of people who saw their time enjoying. Neighbors around tables had pots with finds, so we ordered the same. Good choice!... Found Savoyard avec cep (with mushrooms) served for two people (but enough for three people), bread and salad aside. Too bad we just passed the place, I wanted to stay for a few days to come back to Les Granges du Lac to taste other regional tastes that were presented in the menu that also seemed good.

Restaurant found quite by accident while looking for place to eat dinner, along the lake. I decided to stay there only because full of people who looked enjoying their time. Neighbours at tables around had pots with foundes, so we ordered the same. Good choice! Founde savoyarde avec cep (with mushrooms) served for two persons (but enough for three people), bread and lettuce aside. A pity we were only passing the place, I wished to stayed for a several days to come back to Les Granges du Lac to try other regional tastes presented in the menu that seemed good as well.
