Welcoming and friendly staff, able to speak English. Good choices of beers, good music, pleasant atmosphere, they offer complementary bar snacks, which make you feel welcome.

On Trapani’s main drag there are quite a few cafes and the Mad Hatter ! is the only one I could be bothered to review. The floppy haired waiter with glasses makes a mean cappuccino really exceptional. Right temperature. Foam just so. The sugar is brown and the packet bears the cafe’s hand drawn logo. It’s a bit nippy outside in the winter and there’s no indoor seating but other than that this is my choice of caffeine fix in Trapani

Great for apperitivo, nice campari spritz. Good gin tonics, but only schweppes as tonic. Have Mare, Tanqueray and Hendrics. Otherwise perfect location by the street. Fine for chilling.

Excellent Aperol Spritz (more Aperol than some other places), nice service and great place to sit outside looking at various edifices and religious parephinalia shop.

It is a must visit place for a Cuba Libre! Very good coctails and snacks, friendly staff. Very good place to sit and wait until your restaurant will open at 7pm.
